The January 1999 edition of Classic Boat was an S&S special issue with articles on Dorade, "Olin's Boats", and Olin himself. Issue 121 had an article on the S&S schooner Brilliant and Issue 58 (April 1993) had one on Stormy Weather (both yachts belonging to Association members).

The Classic Yachts Supplement of Yachting Monthly , August 1991, contained two articles, one a history of the design partnership, the other a colour feature on the S&S 34. The 1974 issue 2 did a piece on the She 32C .

Yachting World did a three-page article on the She 36 in 1992 and 2 pages on the restoration of a Swan 36 in May 1995.
